Ben Player seriamente ferido a surfar na Irlanda! [EM UPDATE]

Segundo o website Meduxa, o Ben Player sofreu ontem um acidente ao surfar a famosa esquerda de Riley’s na Irlanda!

 O Ben sofreu uma lesão no baço que resultou numa hemorragia interna e teve que ser evacuado de helicoptero. Esta notícia é bastante desconcertante, o Ben é um dos bodyboarders mais talentosos e amados do nosso desporto e esperamos que ele fique bem para continuar a inspirar-nos.

“Update via NMD: Here’s the latest from @ben_player regarding his injury suffered yesterday while surfing in Ireland: “Tore my spleen trying to land a regular air forward, crazy because the day before we were surfing 15ft waves and I did an air forward on the biggest wave I’ve ever hit and nothing happened! All good though, I should be out of hospital tomorrow and back into it in a few weeks” Thoughts and prayers are with Ben Player who has been seriously injured while surfing in Ireland. We will pass on news as we get it.”
